Tomorrow 11/18 will be a virtual day. Thanksgiving break will be Monday 11/21- Friday 11/25. Classes will resume Monday 11/28 at their normal time. We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving break!
We will be having our Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 17. Parents will be allowed to attend. The cost of lunch for parents is $3.50. If you will be attending please let Ms. Shelby in the office know so we can get a count for food!
The 5/6 Girls basketball team will play today at 3:00 in Hodgen against Heavener for 3rd place. They will return to the school by 4:30 this eventing
We have had many questions about illness policies. This note is going home today with students. It tells a little more about the illness and when to/not to send. your child to school.
The 5th and 6th grade games for today at Hodgen have been rescheduled until Wednesday at the same time. The 3rd and 4th grades will play today as planned.
The Jr High games against Battiest have been postponed until a later date. Games will be rescheduled. We will notify parents of the new date once it becomes available.
The 3rd-6th Basketball teams will leave school at 2:00 today for their tournament in Hodgen. They will return to school around 6:30.
Fall picture retakes and Winter sports (Basketball, Cheer, Cross Country, and Archery) pictures will be on Monday 11/7/2022. Notes will go home tomorrow afternoon. Please have package and money on Monday to give to the photographer.

The elementary games scheduled for Wednesday have been canceled.
REMINDER:
The Fall Festival is tonight from 6:00-8:00 in the elementary parking lot! There will be lots of game for the kiddos!
The coronation starts at 6:00 in the elementary gym. Carnival royalty candidates need to be here no later than 5:30 for pictures.
Kona Ice will be here tomorrow 10/26 for the last time until the spring! Notes will go home today!

Congratulations to the 5th/6th grade girls basketball team. They are the Leflore Tournament Runner Up!
Thank you to Chief Standridge, Captain Kelley, Firefighter/EMT Swiontek, and Safety Officer Holton with Hogeye Fire Department for coming in today and talking with our students about the importance of fire safety. Students Pre-K-6th grade got the chance to see what a fire fighter looks like in all of their safety gear, learn fire safety tips, and explore the different emergency vehicles that Hogeye Fire Department has.
Boo Bags will be available for all students. If you do not have CashApp and wish to purchase one please send $4 in an envelope to your child’s teacher.
5th/6th Boys and Girls Basketball will play tomorrow at Leflore: they will leave school at 11:55. The girls will play at 1:30
Flu Season is here! In collaboration with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma State Department of Health there will be a flu vaccine clinic next Tuesday, October 18th. The Vaccine is free to students both Native and Non-Native.
Nurses from the Leflore Co. Health Department and the Choctaw Nation will be here at 1:00. No one under the age of 18 will be vaccinated without an adults consent. NO ONE will be vaccinated without a signed form.
Forms were sent out a few weeks ago, and are due back Monday, October 17th. If you wish for your child to receive the vaccine, but need another form. Please contact Ms. Shelby in the elementary. She will see that another form be sent home.
